Q: What is new in the software?
|
TM
A: The new software has a completely new updated look,
(even our icon has been updated). The navigation through
the program has not changed, nor have we removed any
features. More locators on the browse list. Navigation
buttons are included on every list now. Just click a button
and go to the first, last, or next entry. Re-sizable windows!
System wide font. You can now specify a system wide font
(not in reports at this time). If you do not like the
predefined font you can change it and it will automatically
apply to all windows.
Always wanted to use that fancy scroll button on your
mouse? Now you can! Another feature of Lullaby
Management is Cursor/Field Highlighting. When you are
moving from field to field do you ever loose track of which
field you were in? Now the system automatically highlights
the field you are working in. The most important change of
all is a new and easier registration process.
Q: Will my information transfer from Calendar-Keeper Software to Lullaby Management?
|
A: Yes! You must purchase a new license for
Lullaby Management, we will send you
instructions on how to transfer your information
from the Calendar-Keeper Software line to Lullaby
Management with a few easy steps.
A: No. The additional computer licenses are for
your business only. For example if you have a
main computer and a laptop, you would purchase
one primary license for your main computer and
one additional computer license for your laptop.
Q: How can I back up my data to a CD? Do you have other options besides floppy diskettes?
|
A: Using Microsoft Windows XP (tm), backup your
data to a local drive folder such as C:\MyBackups
(make sure it is a short named folder - due to
internal limitations of long names). Use My
Computer or Windows Explorer to navigate to the
folder you backed up to. Insert a blank CD.
Windows XP will open a window which you can
drag and drop the backup file from the temporary
folder (in this example - C:\MyBackups) to the CD
writing window. Click Write These Files To CD
and follow the prompts.
We do recommend an alternative to CD's and
floppy diskettes. The alternate device is called a
USB Flash Drive. They can be purchased from just
about any office supply store and computer shop.
Please read the documentation that will come
with your jump drive on how to install and use the
device.
